Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): New. A manuscript that may contain classified information may be at the root of a murder the team is investigating.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS): New. Kensei is enlisted to find out what a thief wanted to steal at a Marine base after an attempt is made to breach the secure facility.

The Good Wife (CBS): New. The firm is suing a murderer that is making money off a song that is about the crime he committed. Eli is attempting to help Natalie Flores.

Solid Selections

Glee (FOX): Repeat. The “Special Education” episode replays, where New Directions is competing with the Warblers in the Sectionals. Runs 61 minutes.

Raising Hope (FOX): Repeat. The “Say Cheese” episode replays, where Jimmy wants to get some family photos that include Hope. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 30 minutes.

Parenthood (NBC): New. Adam and Kristina have a surprise meeting with Max’s principal. Julia and Joel get some bad news. An old friend of Zeek’s, played by Richard Dreyfuss, shows some interest in Sarah’s play.

Other Options

  • Body of Proof (ABC): Series Premiere. Dr. Megan Hunt, a former top surgeon, can no longer operate after being in a car accident. She puts her skills to use as a medical examiner. She is also divorced with a daughter that lives with her ex. The first case we join her on is the investigation of a female jogger found dead in the water. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes. Take a little bit of House, M.D., mix it with a little Quincy, M.E. and toss in a little family drama, all with the fantastic Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives, China Beach) in the lead and you’ve got Body of Proof. It’s a solid show that starts out a bit rough, but once you get more of Dr. Hunt’s background things even out. Unfortunately, the episode that airs next week is not very good. The dialogue is bad, there is a continuity problem story wise regarding the male detective and his background form the previous episode. Yet, the week after that is the best of the first three episodes, as the daughter is worked into the episode quite well. Overall, it’s above average, but doesn’t really compare to its network rivals, as it will be going up against the dynamic duo of CBS’ The Good Wife and NBC’s Parenthood.
  • Lights Out (FX): New. Lights gets a surprise visitor as things are gearing up for the big fight. Plays twice and again later. Next week is the season finale, which is also the series finale since FX has declined to renew it for a second season.
  • Marcel’s Quantum Kitchen (Syfy): New. Marcel is brought on to cater an engagement party for former high school sweethearts that have now reunited after 30 years. Plays again later.
  • What Not to Wear (TLC): New. Clinton and Stacy try to help a style writer get some style. Both play again later.
