Prime Picks

The Middle (ABC): Repeats. The “Friends, Lies and Videotape” and “Taking Back the House” episodes from this past season replay.

Franklin & Bash (TNT): New. The guys use whatever antic they can to help a woman accused of killing her husband with sex. Plays again later. Yes, there isn’t much to this show, but it’s fun. I quite enjoyed this episode, as I did with the premiere last week. Or, it could’ve just been the presence of Natalie Zea (Justified, Dirty Sexy Money) as the defendant.

Men of a Certain Age (TNT): New. Joe helps out Manfro, but it may lead to trouble. Terry is having trouble dealing with his breakup. Plays again later. Scott Bakula’s Terry reverts back to his old womanizing ways as he turns 50 in an effort to deal with the heartbreak he suffered last week. This is a great storyline of a man that finally found what he didn’t even know he was looking for, only to have it torn away from him. How he deals with it and the repercussions make for compelling drama. Have you been watching? If not, why not? I’d be interested in hearing in the comments.
