Prime Picks

The Middle (ABC): Repeats. Tonight, “The Big Chill” and “Super Sunday” episodes from this past season replay.

Franklin & Bash (TNT): New. A plain looking woman wants to pursue legal action because she believes she was fired for being too beautiful. Plays again later. This turned out to be a very interesting case. One that again makes me think of a show like Boston Legal, yet without making any political points. This show just goes for the fun and wacky, which makes it an enjoyable summer series. Yet, one that doesn’t provide the must watch factor.

Men of a Certain Age (TNT): New. Owen’s father tells him he should takeover the dealership’s softball team as well and just in time to play their biggest rival dealership. Plays again later. While the game may play out as expected, there are a couple of things that happen during it that are unexpected and completely hilarious. Such a well crafted episode. Don’t want to say anymore, just watch and enjoy.

Other Options

  • MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. They take a look back at some of their favorite myths involving transportation. Last week’s episode replays right before. Both play again later.
  • The Next Food Network Star (Food Network): Repeat. The past Sunday’s episode, “In the Line of Fire,” replays. Runs 90 minutes. Plays again later.
  • The Nine Lives of Chloe King (ABC Family): Repeat. Last night’s series premiere episode, “Pilot,” replays.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Wednesday Night Baseball MLB action with the New York Yankees at the Texas Rangers.
  • NBC has Game 7 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals with the Boston Bruins at the Vancouver Canucks.

Late Night

  • HawthoRNe (TNT): Repeat. Last night’s third season premiere episode, “For Better or Worse,” replays.
  • Teen Wolf (MTV): Repeat. This past Monday’s episode, “Pack Mentality,” replays.
