Watch Royal Pains Episodes via Amazon Instant VideoOn cable tonight, Discovery Channel has the second season premiere of Sons of Guns and the series premiere of One Man Army, DIY has the second season premiere of This New House, E! has a Nicki Minaj special, ESPN has The 2011 ESPYs special, FX has the seventh, and final, season premiere of Rescue Me, ID has the second season premiere of Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry? and the series premiere of I Married a Mobster, Lifetime has the series premieres of Roseanne’s Nuts and Dance Moms, NickToons has the second season premiere of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Showtime has the series premiere of The Franchise, and Syfy has the third season premiere of Ghost Hunters International and the series premiere of Legend Quest.

Direct TV has the fourth season premiere of Damages. This season, and next, will not be replaying on FX at a later date, as with season three. For those without Direct TV, we’ll have to wait for the DVD sets.

Prime Picks

Melissa & Joey (ABC Family): New. Joe tries to act as a translator for Mel and a Japanese businessman, but things turn awkward. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again Friday afternoon and next week before the new episode. Last week’s episode, “Don’t Train on My Parade,” replays right before.

Royal Pains (USA Network): New. A couple of best friends are all worried about their line of cleaning products. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “But There’s a Catch,” replays earlier in the day.

Necessary Roughness (USA Network): New. Dr. Dani takes the case of a NASCAR driver that is afraid to get back out on the track. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Anchor Management,” replays earlier in the day.

Other Options

  • Franklin & Bash (TNT): New. Peter and Jared take the case of two pole dance instructors that are charged with stealing from their clients. Plays again later.
  • The Next Food Network Star (Food Network): Repeat. This past Sunday’s episode, “Food Truck Face Off,” replays. Plays again later.
  • Rescue Me (FX): Season Premiere. Tommy’s family life gets a shake-up. Runs 62 minutes. Plays twice and again later. This will be the show’s final season.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Women’s World Cup action with France vs. U.S. early.
  • Versus has Stage 11 coverage of the Tour de France.

Late Night

  • Alphas (Syfy): Repeat. This past Monday’s series premiere episode, “Pilot,” replays. Runs 90 minutes.
