Over on cable, A&E has the series premiere of Bordertown and History has the series premiere of Harvest.

Direct TV has the series premiere of Pete Versus Life.

Next Thursday, CBS has the season premiere of Rules of Engagement.

Due to a rain delay during Game 4 of the ALCS, FOX has pushed last night’s The X Factor to tonight and the episode that was supposed to air tonight to Sunday night, if there is no Game 7 (which is looking unlikely with Texas up 3-1 in the series).

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): New. It’s senior prank night and Caroline sets out to make sure everything goes well. Damon believes that Jeremy may somehow be able to help defeat Klaus.

Person of Interest (CBS): New. There seems to be some kind of threat around a promising young doctor and Reese and Finch must figure out what it is and stop it.

Prime Suspect (NBC): New. Jane thinks the wife is behind the mysterious death of a stockbroker. Matt’s ex doesn’t want Jane at their son’s birthday party.

Community (NBC): New. Troy and Abed throw a party at their new place and things get really weird.
Parks & Recreation (NBC): New. Ron is taking the guys on a “guys only” trip, so Leslie decides to take the ladies on an adventure.

The Secret Circle (The CW): New. Cassie is having trouble with all the secrets. Melissa needs help from Nick.

The Mentalist (CBS): New. Jane attempts to prove that a man carrying a gun at a rally is going to commit murder. Lisbon is looking into the death of a photographer.

Looking forward to Person Of Interest already. The show has only been on a few weeks, and it already has me hooked. I really like that show. It seems that Person Of Interest has tons of potential given the background setting and characters.
