Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): New. The team is looking over an abandoned cargo ship for the killer of a coast guard officer.

Ringer (The CW): New. Bridget is trying to get in touch with Gemma and begins to worry when she can’t. Bridget goes to Charlie for a favor.

Sons of Anarchy (FX): New. SAMCRO is dealing with a death threat on Tara. Runs 61 minutes. Plays twice and again later. FX has picked the show up for a fifth season.

Solid Selections

Last Man Standing (ABC): New. Mike gets his grandson kicked out of preschool.
Man Up! (ABC): Series Premiere. It has three guys in different places in their relationships with women. Reminds me a lot like last seasons short-lived Traffic Light and not in a good way. This is not the worst of the new comedies that are scheduled to play at some point on ABC, but it’s not good.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS): New. The team is looking into the possible connection of a Mexican drug cartel and a terrorist. Runs 61 minutes.

Parenthood (NBC): New. Adam and Crosby are trying to land a new client. Drew gets some advice from Amber. Mark doesn’t like Seth being around.

Other Options

  • Body of Proof (ABC): New. Megan begins to think that a long time fire investigator may be behind a fire that killed a person. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
  • Flashpoint (ION): New. A plane is hijacked in hopes of freeing some prisoners. Another episodes follows.

Sports Note

  • ESPN has college football action with Florida International at Arkansas State.

Late Night

  • Psych (USA Network): Repeat. Last Monday’s sixth season premiere episode, “Shawn Rescues Darth Vader,” replays.
