Prime Picks

How I Met Your Mother (CBS): New. Barney and Ted commiserate over their present relationship status. Lily and Marshall are thinking of moving to Long Island. Not an overly impressive episode on the comedy front. They started Barney and Robin down a path a couple episodes ago that I don’t particularly care for either and enjoy it even less after where they take it in this episode.
2 Broke Girls (CBS): New. Max and Caroline try to get jobs as elves at a mall to take in some extra cash during the holiday season.

Hart of Dixie (The CW): New. Lavon asks Zoe to host his annual pre-game kickoff party in an attempt to get her feeling more connected to Bluebell.

Castle (ABC): New. A sniper is terrorizing the city, which only worsens Beckett dealing with what happened to her. Stana Katic gives a fantastic performance in an episode that pumps up the drama more than your average episode.

Solid Selections

Terra Nova (FOX): New. Taylor once and for all attempts to smoke out the traitor passing info to the Sixers. Jim learns of an old murder that points to Taylor.

House (FOX): New. House is consumed by figuring out what killed a four-year-old.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS): New. Jenna Kaye returns to ask McGarrett to help deliver a ransom for her fiancé that is being held captive in North Korea. Meanwhile, the team is working a case of a dead reporter that may have a connection to Jenna. This episode is absolutely ridiculous. The plot is so over the top and that is saying something for this show. Not just that, but it makes no sense. There is no reason why this has to take place in North Korea, other than to give it a Rambo feel. For what the bad guy wants, he could’ve of gotten to McGarrett at any time in Hawaii. At least it is action packed.

Other Options

  • Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Season Finale. Guy checks out places that turn the “Old to New.” Two repeat episode play right before and one after. All four play again later.
  • Gossip Girl (The CW): New. Serena puts on a wedding shower for Blair. Chuck and Dan end up hanging together after not getting invited to the party. Nate makes a discovery.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS): New. Walden meets an enchanting British woman, but is still a bit hesitant to begin dating. Runs 31 minutes.
