Over on cable, Disney Channel has a Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas special and the series premiere of Austin & Ally, Encore has the miniseries premiere of The Take, History has the first season finale of Hairy Bikers, and Lifetime has the 25th season premiere of America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back and the series premiere of Starving Secrets With Tracy Gold.

Nikita (The CW): New. Nikita finds Owen and wants his help to steal another black box. Amanda is none to happy to find out that Alex got some information from Percy. Alex gets closer to Semak.

The Take (Encore): Miniseries Premiere. Four part miniseries based on the best-selling crime thriller by Martina Cole makes its debut on U.S. television. It’s been available on DVD for awhile now. It stars Tom Hardy (Warrior, Inception) as an ex-con returning to London where he hopes to make a name for himself. Plays again Sunday night and a few more times before part two plays next week.

Blue Bloods (CBS): New. A dangerous ex-mobster agrees to help Danny on some cold cases in exchange for him being lenient on his son. Jamie is looking for a Sanfino family secret.

Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Repeats. Two repeat episodes play in this time period. Four more follow. All six play again later.

Supernatural (The CW): New. Dean and Sam are on a high stakes mission. Bobby goes to an old friend to help solve a very personal case.

Boss (Starz): New. Kane attempts to regain control of the city as the election nears. Plays twice.

    Small error on the football game on ESPN2. Northern Illinois, not “regular” Illinois.

    ESPN2 has college football action with the MAC Football Championship between Illinois and Ohio.
