Prime Picks
Once Upon a Time (ABC): New. David is torn between Kathryn and Mary Margaret, whom he has fallen for. Sheriff Graham gets caught in a lie. The destiny of Prince Charming may be altered.
The Good Wife (CBS): New. Michael J. Fox returns at attorney Louis Canning and he and Alicia make a connection after a routine arbitration is interrupted by a personal crisis.
Homeland (Showtime): New. Carrie and Saul begin surveilling Walker’s contact in Washington. Brody gets asked to run for congress. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays earlier in the evening.
Solid Selections
The Simpsons (FOX): New. Joan Rivers guest stars as Krusty the Clown’s first agent that attempts to mount his comeback after his show is canceled and his talent agency drops him. Runs 30 minutes.
Leverage (TNT): New. The team ends up in the middle of a documentary being filmed while they try to prove the CEO is embezzling funds from his greeting card company. Plays again later. This episode is fantastic, especially if you are also a fan of The Office.
Pan Am (ABC): New. Ted wants to make a woman from his past jealous and asks Laura for help. Kate and Anderson end up in some trouble on a mission. Colette meets Dean’s parents. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
Other Options
- Boardwalk Empire (HBO): New. Nucky is preparing Margaret. Jimmy his looking back on his college days. Nelson has to deal with his past. Plays again later.
- Desperate Housewives (ABC): New. The ladies of the lane all blame Bree when Chuck begins questioning them. Lynette needs a favor from Tom that could hurt his relationship with Jane. Runs 61 minutes.
- Dexter (Showtime): New. Dexter is looking for the next victim of the Doomsday Killer. Debra has a bad reaction to a crime scene. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays earlier in the evening. What did you think of the “twist?”
- Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. Iron Chef Morimoto takes on Iron Chef Michael Symon in a Holiday Batle. Plays again later.
- Neverland (Syfy): Miniseries Premiere. Peter and his band of pickpockets get transferred to Neverland via a magical orb. Part one of two. Runs two hours. Plays again later twice and again tomorrow before part two. If you’ve liked Tin Man and Alice, then you will most likely enjoy this year’s Syfy miniseries. This one tells you the back-story of Peter Pan. As usual the special effects are good and I would rank this one below Tin Man, but better than Alice. Those with more knowledge than I about Peter Pan may enjoy it more, as I’m sure their were connections that I missed. It’s definitely worth watching, but since it will be replaying multiple times over the next couple weeks and there are so many other great options on at the same time tonight, you should DVR it or catch it at a later date or On Demand if you have that available.
- The Next Iron Chef: Super Chef (Food Network): New. The five remaining chefs must take some risks to complete their next dish. Plays again later.
