News & Notes

Get a look at what’s on the rest of the week with ‘Twas the TV Week Before Christmas.

Prime Picks

Rizzoli & Isles (TNT): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Don’t Stop Dancing, Girl,” replays.

The Middle (ABC): Repeat. The “A Christmas Gift” episode from a couple weeks ago replays.
Raising Hope (FOX): Repeat. Last season’s Christmas episode, “Toy Story,” replays.

Flashpoint (ION): Repeat. The season three episode, “Terror,” replays, where Jules ends up in the middle of a hostage situation while off duty. The “Severed Ties” episode from the same season follows. Both play again later.

Other Option

  • Deck the Halls (TNT): Premiere. A private eye visiting her parents for the holidays has to deal with the abduction of her father. She gets help from an amateur sleuth. Stars Kathy Najimy (Sister Act), Scottie Thompson (Trauma, NCIS) and Larry Miller (10 Things I Hate About You). Runs two hours. Plays again later. This is the worst of the TNT Mystery Movie Night flicks, which haven’t been all that good to begin with. The tone of this movie just doesn’t fit with the situation at hand.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has college football action with the St. Petersburg Bowl with Marshall vs. Florida International.
  • ESPN2 has doubleheader college basketball action with Samford at Kentucky followed by Butler at Gonzaga.

Late Night

  • Psych (USA Network): Repeat. Last Wednesday’s midseason finale episode, “Neil Simon’s Lover’s Retreat,” replays.
