Over on cable, Discovery Channel has a Storm Chasers: Behind the Storms 2011 special, a The Year the Earth Went Wild special and a Raw Alaska special, E! has a Fascinating Celebrity Weddings special, Nat Geo Wild has the second season finale of Swamp Men, and TNT has the seventh winter season finale of The Closer and the second season finale of Rizzoli & Isles.

Rudolph’s Shiny New Year (ABC): Repeat. An evil bird kidnaps baby New Year and Rudolph shows up to help.
The Closer (TNT): Winter Finale. Brenda and the team are looking into a murderd related to Turell Baylor’s death. Brenda’s lawyer and the Baylor family’s lawyer face-off in court once again. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Road Block,” replays right before. There are still a few episodes left from this season to come this summer that will lead into the Major Crimes spin-off.
Rizzoli & Isles (TNT): New. A warehouse fire is being investigated. Gabriel Dean is back hoping to pick things up with Jane. Plays again later.
