I’m posting this from my phone, since my power is out again. But, once it’s back I will post today’s picks here. I was about 15-20 minutes away from doing so when the power went out. I wanted to post something, so if you are reading this via email you can click on the title later today and hopefully find the full picks posted. If you are reading this via RSS or on the site itself, then check back later as well.
Basically, the Prime Picks are in the title. The Finder has a much better second outing and I am interested to see what happens on Person of Interest with Carter being more involved.
What show are you most looking forward too tonight?
Update 2:30pm: Looks like it may be awhile until we get power back. It’s the fifth day out of the last six that it has snowed here in the Seattle area, which is both causing the power outages and hindering getting them fixed. Hoping it will be back on by in the morning.
Update 4:14pm: Turns out the power came back on much sooner than anticipated, so below you will now find today’s post for what’s worth watching tonight on TV:
News & Notes
On cable tonight, A&E has the second season finale of Beyond Scared Straight and FX has the third season premiere of Archer followed by the series premiere of Unsupervised.
Prime Picks
The Vampire Diaries (The CW): New. Bonnie starts to think that what she is seeing in her dreams could somehow help her kill Klaus. Tyler sets out to reclaim his free will. Alaric’s new doctor friend intrigues Damon.
Person of Interest (CBS): New. Reese asks Carter for help with their latest case after she finally officially meets him again.
The Mentalist (CBS): New. The team is investigating the death of a mob boss’ son. The shooting she was involved in is haunting Van Pelt.
Solid Selections
30 Rock (NBC): New. A video of Tracy on an offensive rant gets leaked online. Jack won’t approve of Liz’s new boyfriend.
Parks & Recreation (NBC): New. Leslie and Ben have differing opinions on her first campaign ad. Andy and April take a trip to the doctor.

Other Options
- The Big Bang Theory (CBS): New. Leonard spontaneously asks Penny out to a romantic dinner. This is the 100th episode of the show.
- The Finder (FOX): New. A former prison warden comes to Walter for help in finding a bullet that could exonerate a death row inmate he believes is innocent. Dr. Sweets is evaluating Walter so he can officially work with the FBI and U.S. Marshals. While last week’s episode did a good job of introducing all the players, I thought the episode was just okay. I much more enjoyed tonight’s episode.
- The Firm (NBC): New. Mitch takes the cases of a psychiatrist accused of murdering her stalker. Mitch thinks that he is being watched and tells Abby and the FBI.
- Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. Richard is performing his 10,000th surgery. Derek and Lexie move forward on a case that has been deemed inoperable. Meredith is trying to figure out what her specialty should be. Runs 62 minutes.
