Super Bowl XLVI (NBC): New England Patriots vs. New York Giants. The broadcast starts at 6:00 p.m. ET and kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET. Madonna is the halftime entertainment. There will be plenty of commercials that hopefully a few are good. A post game show follows and then the second season premiere of The Voice.

• Californication (Showtime): New. Charlie and Hank go on a ride-along with Samurai-Apocalypse. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again later. Showtime has picked the show up for a sixth season.
• Luck (HBO): New. Ace has a meeting with a potential investor. Walter Smith may have found a jockey for his horse. Plays three times.
• Shameless (Showtime): New. Frank is trying to get someone else’s benefits. Fiona is making up a false background while at a wedding. Plays again later. Showtime has picked the show up for a third season.
• Spartacus: Vengeance (Starz): Repeat. Last Friday’s episode, “A Place in This World,” replays.
