Prime Picks

30 Rock (NBC): New. Frank is trying to convince his mom that he is dating Liz. Tracy and Jenna are on the hunt for Pete’s missing whiskey.
Parks & Recreation (NBC): New. Leslie’s opponent has hired a new campaign manager that is very powerful. Ron starts interviewing to potentially a person to takeover for Leslie, should she win.

The Office (NBC): New. Dwight attempts to impress Nellie at the new Sabre store opening. Andy deals with an embarrassing injury. Runs 30 minutes.

Awake (NBC): Series Premiere. After Detective Britten is in a car accident along with his wife and son, he begins to experience dual realities. In one his wife was killed and in the other it was his son. In each reality he is seeing a psychologist to try and figure out what is going on, but doesn’t really want one of the realities to go away, because that would mean completely losing either his wife or son. He is also investigating cases and things happening in one reality seem to be informing his investigation in the other. This is the best new show to debut this TV season. The cast is fantastic. Where it goes from here, I don’t know. But, I can’t wait to find out. Tonight’s episode plays like a brilliant short film that is completely enjoyable on its own and should not be missed. Given that Private Practice isn’t on and The Mentalist is a repeat, there is no excuse not to give this show a try. Will you be checking it out tonight?
