Over on cable, BBC America has the second season premiere of Whitechapel, MTV has the 22nd season finale of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Spike TV has the third season premiere of Auction Hunters, and TLC has the first season finale of My Crazy Obsession.

Wednesday night shows normally mentioned below but are either repeats or not on tonight include ABC’s The Middle, Suburgatory, Modern Family, and Revenge and CBS’ Criminal Minds and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

One Tree Hill (The CW): New. Haley is going to emcee a festival. Brooke has to deal with what her father does. Julian may have finally found a project he wants to work on. Clay and Quinn get ready to have Logan spend the night for the first time.

Bent (NBC): Series Premiere. Pete finds Ben in a compromising situation and decides whether to tell Alex or not. Another new episode follows.
Happy Endings (ABC): New. Penny tells a little white lie to avoid an irritating friend from her childhood. Dave and Max’s lonely landlord develops a thing for Alex. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

Psych (USA Network): New. Woody could get fired for a mistake and Shawn and Gus set out to find out the actual cause of death to help him. Plays again later.

  • Missing (ABC): Repeat. Last Thursday’s episode, “The Hard Drive,” replays.
  • Whitechapel (BBC America): Season Premiere. Chandler and his team catch the case of four people murdered in the fortified workshop of a tailor.
