Over on cable, Discovery Channel has a Bering Sea Gold special, Reelz has the series premiere of True Justice, Syfy has the fourth season finale of Merlin, Starz has the second season finale of Spartacus: Vengeance, and truTV has the fifth season finale of Top 20 Most Shocking.

In late night, Starz has the series premiere of Magic City.

Nikita (The CW): New. Amanda and Ari are prepping to takeover Zetrov. Nikita thinks back to what Amanda used to be like.

Fringe (FOX): New. The team begins an investigation into something that reminds Peter of something that happened in his timeline.

In Plain Sight (USA Network): New. Marshall and Mary have to get help from a Native American detective after Marshall loses a witness. Plays again later. Last week’s fifth season premiere episode, “Four Marshals and a Baby,” replays earlier in this morning.

Solid Selections

Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Repeats. The first two of six repeat episodes that play tonight play in this time period. All six play again later.

Grimm (NBC): New. Nick is investigating the grisly murder of a shop owner with the help of Monroe. Nick thinks that he may have found an ally.

Blue Bloods (CBS): New. A gun connected to a crime is brought in when the NYPD holds a “no questions asked” buyback program.

  • Fairly Legal (USA Network): New. Kate has to mediate an insurance dispute at the behest of Judge Nicastro. Lauren is urged to start dating again. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Start Me Up,” replays earlier in this morning.
  • Merlin (Syfy): Season Finale. The situation continues to grow desperate, but can Merlin restore Arthur’s faith. Plays again later.
  • Spartacus: Vengeance (Starz): Season Finale. The rebellion is brought to its knees by dwindling supplies, but Spartacus attempts to restore hope. Plays twice.
  • Supernatural (The CW): New. A hunter comes to the brothers with a surprise help request. Sam and Dean end up going against a Japanese creature.
  • True Justice (Reelz): Series Premiere. Steven Seagal plays Elijah Kane, the leader of an undercover group of cops in Seattle. In the first episode, the team is investigating a double homicide that involves dirty cops and a Russian drug lord. Plays again later.

  • ESPN has doubleheader NBA action tonight with the Dallas Mavericks at the Orlando Magic followed by the Portland Trail Blazers at the Los Angeles Clippers.
