Prime Picks
Melissa & Joey (ABC): New. Mel defends Ryder by punching someone and then must deal with the consequences after video of the incident is posted online.
Melissa & Joey (ABC): Repeat. The “Go to Go” episode from last week replays.

Other Option
- Dallas (TNT): Series Premiere. Bobby Ewing’s son is getting married and preparations are being made for the wedding at South Fork. J.R.’s son has a plan to drill for oil on South Fork, which stirs up old rivalries. Runs 75 minutes. In the second episode tonight, a plot begins to take shape and Christopher tries to work with Elena. Runs 60 minutes. Both play again later. If you like your TV soapy, then you’ll probably like this. If you liked the original Dallas, then you’ll probably like this. If you like shows were everyone has a secret agenda and nobody is quite what they seem, then you’ll probably like this. If you like twists around every turn, then you’ll probably enjoy this. They do a good job of bridging the gap between the old series and the new with Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray and Larry Hagman reprising their roles of Bobby Ewing, Sue Ellen Ewing and J.R. Ewing and Josh Henderson (Desperate Housewives, Jesse Metcalf (Desperate Housewives, Jordana Brewster (The Fast & the Furious) and Julie Gonzalo (Veronica Mars rounding out the next generation. Will probably watch a few more episodes, but don’t see myself keeping up with this one. Will you be returning to Dallas tonight?
