Prime Picks

Melissa & Joey (ABC Family): New. Mel is going to break up with the guy she has been seeing, but wants Joe to help boost the guy’s confidence before she does. Sixteen previous episodes replay leading up to tonight’s new episode.
Baby Daddy (ABC Family): Series Premiere. A guy finds a baby on his doorstep left by a former girlfriend. He, his brother, his friend, his mother, and the former girl next door try and figure out what to do. This is basically Three Men and a Baby, but not nearly as good. There are a couple of laughs, but overall it is very weak. It could improve and I’ll probably watch a couple more episodes to see, but don’t expect much from it.

Royal Pains (USA Network): New. Hank and Evan are going after the same client. Divya once again attempts to bring them together. Jill has a party. Plays again later.

Necessary Roughness (USA Network): New. Dani is tasked with evaluating a new recruit, guest star Gaius Charles (Friday Night Lights. TK has gone missing. Dani is annoyed by Ray Jay’s girlfriend. Plays again later.

Other Option

  • Dallas (TNT): New. John Ross wants to impress his father. J.R. wants to move back to Southfork. Cliff Barnes wants to connect with his nephew. Plays again later.

I think Dallas could wind up being pretty good once it really gets going but my pick for tonight is Melissa and Joey.
