Over on cable, BBC America has the series premiere of Twenty Twelve, FX has the series premiere of Anger Management and the third season premiere of Louie, MTV has the second season premiere of Awkward., and Travel Channel has the series premiere of Trip Flip.
In late night, FX has the series premiere of Brand X With Russell Brand.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS): Repeat. “The Werewolf Transformation” episode from this past season replays, where Sheldon’s routine gets thrown off kilter. Runs 31 minutes.
2 Broke Girls (CBS): Repeat. The “And the Pretty Problem” episode from this past season replays, where Caroline takes Max to a cupcake-decorating class. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.
Burn Notice (USA Network): New. Pearce wants Michael’s help to get the person who killed her fiancé, but things don’t go as planned. Fiona tries to figure out who is after her. Plays again later.
Suits (USA Network): New. Mike gets caught in the middle between Harvey and Daniel, as they each have a different idea of how to go about handling a big negation case. Plays again later.
Other Options
- Anger Management (FX): Series Premiere. Two episodes play tonight. Charlie, a former ball player with anger issues and now therapist, has a run in with his ex’s new boyfriend and realizes he needs to go back to therapy. Then a woman he doesn’t remember from his past returns in the second episode. Runs 60 minutes. Plays again later. The show gets off to a bit of a rough start. The cast seems overly huge and the opening two episodes were all that funny. The role fits Charlie Sheen well and the show could develop into something more. It doesn’t quite fit with the other FX comedies, but it may do well as a transition from Two and a Half Men reruns into those other FX comedies. This is how they have it scheduled, so we shall see. Will you be checking this one out tonight?
- Awkward. (MTV): Season Premiere. Jenna wants to spread some holiday cheer. Jenna gets a gift from Jake that has her thinking about her past with Matty. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again later. I’ve very much been looking forward to this show’s return. How about you?
