Prime Picks

Awkward. (MTV): Repeats. The first two episodes of season two replay. Last week’s episode plays again later.

The Closer (TNT): Summer Premiere. Brenda thinks she finally has a chance to put away Philip Stroh, but she puts a court case in jeopardy to do so. Plays again later. This is the first of the final six episodes and it’s fantastic. Will be sad to see this show come to an end, but it had a nice long run and will be spinning off into Major Crimes, which will cushion things a bit. Can’t wait to see how they bring the series to an end.

Teen Wolf (MTV): New. Lydia starts to put things together regarding the bite, which causes some problems for Scott and Stiles. Plays twice. Last week’s episode, “Frenemy,” replays right before.

Other Options

  • Bunheads (ABC Family): New. Michelle moves into the guest house. Fanny tries to keep a ballet company from moving their summer program to another studio. The previous episode, “Inherit the Wind,” replays earlier this evening.
  • Eureka (Syfy): New. The town’s communications are still having problems and the bio printer is being put to use for nefarious purposes. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Mirror, Mirror,” replays right before.
  • Lost Girl (Syfy): New. Bo and Dyson may be able to help Lauren. Kenzi is planning a surprise party for Bo. Plays again later.
  • Perception (TNT): Series Premiere. An FBI Agent comes to recruit her former professor to help solve a case. He is one of the leading authorities on neuroscience. The professor suffers from his own set of problems that make him quite the eccentric. Plays again later. The show is solid and Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) gives a very good performance, plus it has Rachael Leigh Cook (She’s All That). Will you be checking this one out tonight?
