News & Notes
Over on cable, History has the second fall season premieres of Cajun Pawn Stars and American Restoration, MTV has the 27th season premiere of The Real World, NFL Network has the second season premiere of A Football Life, and Showtime has the 34th season premiere of Inside the NFL and the third season premiere of Inside NASCAR.
DirecTV has the series premiere of Damages.
The Middle (ABC): Repeat. “The Telling” episode replays.
Suburgatory (ABC): Repeat. The “Entering Eden” episode replays.
Royal Pains (USA Network): New. Hank goes on a dangerous trip to help Dmitry. Paige continues to have to deal with things that have arisen from the secret being revealed. Runs 61 minutes. Plays again later.
Copper (BBC America): Repeat. This past Sunday’s episode, “The Empty Locket,” replays, where Corcoran finds out about the locket and begins to investigate his wife’s disappearance once again.
- Guys With Kids (NBC): Series Premiere. Three dads in their 30s try navigate the world of fatherhood. One is a married stay-at-home dad, one is a recently divorced single father and the third is happily married but a bit forgetful. Runs 30 minutes. I like Anthony Anderson and it is nice to see Tempest Bledsoe back on TV, but the show is barely average. It could possibly improve into a solid family comedy, but I don’t have high hopes. It is just another in a long line of three guys at different places/stages in life trying to get by, but that have all failed miserably.
- ESPN has Wednesday Night Baseball with the New York Yankees at the Boston Red Sox.
- Lost Girl (Syfy): Repeat. This past Monday’s episode, “Into the Dark,” replays.
