Get Awkward. Episodes via Amazon Instant VideoTonight, ABC has the fifth season finale of Wipeout and NBC has the second season premiere of Up All Night, the ninth season premiere of The Office and the fifth season premiere of Parks & Recreation.

Over on cable, FX has the second season finale of Wilfred, MTV has the second season finale of Awkward., and TLC has the series premiere of Bling It On.

In late night, FX has the first summer season finale of Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell.

Next Thursday, ABC has the series premiere of Last Resort followed by the season premieres of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, CBS has the season premieres of The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and Person of Interest and the series premiere of Elementary. FOX started up last week and The CW doesn’t get underway for another couple weeks.

Prime Picks

SNL Weekend Update Thursday (NBC): New Special. The Saturday Night Live players take a few whacks at news and politics this week and next before 30 Rock premieres in this timeslot.
Up All Night (NBC): Season Premiere. Ava’s show gets canceled, which puts a strain on her relationship with Reagan. Reagan’s brother is hired to remodel a bathroom.

The Office (NBC): Season Premiere. Dwight and Jim deal with a couple of new young employees. Andy is back for revenge. Runs 31 minutes.
Parks & Recreation (NBC): Season Premiere. Leslie and Andy go to Washington, D.C. to visit Ben and April. Ron puts on a BBQ for the rest of the staff. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

Awkward. (MTV): Repeat. Last week’s episode, “Once Upon a Blog,” replays. The previous 22 episodes replays today as well.
Awkward. (MTV): Season Finale. Jenna is getting ready to take trip to Europe as her decision makes its way out to the public. Runs 32 minutes. Plays again later. An after show plays right after.

Other Options

  • Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Repeat. The eighth season finale episode, “Flight,” replays. Season nine premieres next week.
  • Louie (FX): New. Louie is on a quest in “Late Show Part 3.” Runs 31 minutes. Plays again later.
  • Scandal (ABC): Repeat. The first season finale episode, “Grant: For the People,” replays. Season two premieres next week.

  • ESPN has Thursday Night College Football with BYU at Boise State.
