Over on cable, Cooking Channel has the series premiere of Taverns, Lounges & Clubs, Discovery Channel has a Osama Bin Laden: The Finish special, Food Network has the fourth season finale of Restaurant: Impossible, FX has the second season premiere of American Horror Story, and Lifetime has The Houstons Remember Whitney and the series premiere of My Life Is a Lifetime Movie.

Arrow (The CW): New. The Chinese Triad is targeting Laurel and the mercenary China White. Oliver is asked to take over the family company. Looking forward to watching a second episode, what about you?

Modern Family (ABC): New. Cameron starts his new music teacher job, so Mitchell tries staying home. Phil doesn’t know what to do after Luke says he doesn’t like magic anymore. Runs 31 minutes.
Suburgatory (ABC): Season Premiere. Tessa has spent the summer in the city with her grandmother and returns to the burbs. Noah and Dallas are going at it over hiring Carmen. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

Nashville (ABC): New. Some family secrets come out after a background check of Teddy for his run at political office. Juliette observes something about Deacon.

The Middle (ABC): New. Rita is mad at Frankie over a hose. Sue cancels a class trip after finding out how much her dad makes and wants to help save money. Runs 30 minutes.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. The team looks into connections between a murdered family and another one that was abducted. Hotch gets some news.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. The CSIs investigate the death of a teen girl at a desert rave.

Balaji K and Georgia, I’m very much looking forward to finally getting to see the second episodes of Arrow and Nashville tonight. Be interested to hear your thoughts on them. Hoping they live up to the “Pilot” episodes.
