Whitney (NBC): New. Whitney’s half-sister comes for a visit. Alex and Mark try to help R.J. cheer up. Runs 30 minutes.

Modern Family (ABC): Repeat. The “New Year’s Eve” episode from earlier this season replays. Runs 31 minutes.
Suburgatory (ABC): New. George and Dallas deal with Noah think that Carmen is the love of his life. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

Psych (USA Network): New. Juliet goes undercover with an online dating profile after it is discovered that two women recently murdered had used the site. Shawn has to deal with her fake dates, Gus’ new girlfriend and having his mom back in town. Plays again later. This is a fantastically funny episode. I couldn’t stop laughing.   • The Americans (FX): New. The KGB is on a hunt for a mole. Plays twice and again later. An extremely tense episode.
  • Southland (TNT): New. John and Lucero deal with some weird calls. Ben and Sammy deal with a bank robbery. Plays twice.

  • ESPN has college basketball action with North Carolina at Maryland followed by NBA action with the Chicago Bulls at the San Antonio Spurs.
  • ESPN2 has tripleheader college basketball action with Georgetown at Villanova, West Virginia at Oklahoma and Stanford at California.

Late Night

  • Justified (FX): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “The Hatchet Tour,” replays.
  • Vikings (A&E): Repeat. This past Sunday night’s series premiere episode, “Rites of Passage,” replays on History’s sister cable channel.
  • White Collar (USA Network): Repeat. Last night’s fourth season finale episode, “In the Wind,” replays.
