Prime Picks

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): Repeat. The “Karma to Burn” episode from this past season replays, where the team is searching for D.B. Russell’s granddaughter.

Sinbad (Syfy): Series Premiere. After Sinbad accidentally kills Lord Akbari’s son, he gets banished and has to flee on the Providence. This isn’t good, but it’s something new on a Saturday night. After watching this episode, I think you will totally understand why the series only lasted one season.

Primeval: New World (Syfy): Series Premiere. Prehistoric creatures start appearing in Vancouver and a small team of civilians try to investigate the anomalies. This too isn’t very good, although slightly better than Sinbad. Yet, it is really easy to see why it too only lasted one season.

Other Option

  • In the Flesh (BBC America): Miniseries Finale. Part three of three. The show follows a zombie teenager as he reintegrates back into the community and his family. He committed suicide four years ago, but shortly after his funeral, thousands rose from the dead. They were rehabilitated and given medication and are now known as PDS (Partially Deceased Syndrome) sufferers. Runs 75 minutes. Plays again later.
