Over on cable, ABC Family has the second midseason premiere of Switched at Birth, Cooking Channel has the first season finale of Pizza Cuz and the series premiere of Freshman Clash, Discovery Channel has the third season premiere of Fast N’ Loud and the series premiere of Street Outlaws, HBO has the documentary premiere of Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer, NBA TV has a The Doctor special, TBS has the series premiere of Deon Cole’s Black Box, and TNT has the second season premiere of Major Crimes and the series premiere of King & Maxwell.

Switched at Birth (ABC Family): Midseason Premiere. Regina has returned from rehab to find that Daphne has grown closer to the Kennish family. Bay bumps into an ex. Travis and Emmett decide to take advantage of Melody going out of town.
The Glades (A&E): New. Jim investigates after the owner of a barbecue mogul. Daniel competes in a cooking competition. Plays again later.
Warehouse 13 (Syfy): New. Pete, Myka and Steve team up with the U.S. Marshals to track down some fugitive after an artifact that creates volcanic events is used to help a couple prisoners escape from an Arkansas prison. Plays again later.
Other Options
- Awkward. (MTV): Repeat. The past two episodes, “Rubbed Raw and Reeling” and “Reality Check,” replay.
- Defiance (Syfy): New. After the big storm, Nolan and Tommy find an American astronaut who was long thought dead in some of the wreckage. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Good Bye Blue Sky,” replays right before.
- Game of Thrones (HBO Signature): Repeat. Last night’s third season finale episode, “Mhysa,” replays.
- King & Maxwell (TNT): Series Premiere. Two former secret service agents, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, are now private investigators. When an old friend of Sean’s is murder, he finds there is much more to the case as they begin investigating. Runs 65 minutes. Plays again later. Solid beginning for the show. Good chemistry between the leads looks like it could be fun a really fun summer series.
- Longmire (A&E): New. Cady is looking for information about her mother’s death. Branch allies himself out with Jacob Nighthorse. Walt investigates a shepherd and his dog in the local Basque community. Plays twice and again later twice.
- Major Crimes (TNT): Season Premiere. The team investigates after the wife of a director is found murdered in their pool. Raydor bumps heads with new Deputy D.A. Emma Rios over Rusty. Plays again later. While different from The Closer, it is still very familiar feeling and does a great job telling interesting stories within the cases they investigate. Glad to have this show back for the summer.
- Teen Wolf (MTV): New. Stiles has a friend go missing. Allison and Lydia are looking for Boyd and Erica. Plays again later. Last week’s third season premiere episode, “Tattoo,” replays right before.
