- Broadchurch (BBC America): Series Premiere. The body of an 11-year-old boy is found on the beach in Broadchurch and the local police begin to investigate. The first episode sets up an interesting story with great characters. I’m definitely onboard. Those that have seen it all the way through say that it has a good ending to close out its eight episode run.
- Camp (NBC): New. The camp deals with a heat wave. Buzz plans his birthday party.
- Franklin & Bash (TNT): New. Peter and Jared take the case of a bounty hunter. Plays again later.
- Necessary Roughness (USA Network): New. Dr. Dani works with sibling rival track stars. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 61 minutes. Plays again later.

- ESPN has MLB Wednesday Night Baseball action with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the St. Louis Cardinals.
