We’ve covered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, so now on to Fridays in this night-by-night look at what is worth watching for the Fall 2013 TV season. Things calm down significantly scripted-wise for shows worth watching on Fridays in comparison to the rest of the week thus far.

Key: | Prime Picks (Watch) | Solid Selections (DVR) | Other Options (DVR2) | Other Options (OnDemand) | New Show (Premieres) | TBD |
The grid is color-coded for Prime Picks, Solid Selections, and Other Options. Just like how the daily Tonight on the Tube posts are organized. It’s best, second best and the rest that is still worth watching. Basically, if it has a color, I plan on watching it. So, I’m looking at potentially seven hours of TV on Fridays. But, since I watch most stuff either via DVR or OnDemand, it’s actually closer to five hours.
A Few Notes on Friday Nights
- Grimm got much better in its second season as they added in more of the mythology and I am looking forward to seeing if it continues to do so in season three.
- MasterChef Junior may be fun, but that cell is colored for Other Option for when Bones takes over the timeslot.
- Raising Hope is one of my favorite comedies and now with FOX moving Enlisted to January, Hope will be playing back-to-back new episodes.
- Strike Back: Origins is something I’ve been wanting to see. It is the original season of the show, known as Chris Ryan’s Strike Back, before Cinemax picked it up. It stars a pre-The Walking Dead Andrew Lincoln and Richard Armitage (MI-5, Robin Hood).
