We’ve covered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, so now on to Saturdays in this night-by-night look at what is worth watching for the Fall 2013 TV season. What I like to call the night to watch all that stuff that has been building up on your DVR from the past week. Or, what can be considered the huge calm before the storm of Sunday TV that is coming.

The grid is color-coded for Prime Picks, Solid Selections, and Other Options. Just like how the daily Tonight on the Tube posts are organized. It’s best, second best and the rest that is still worth watching. Basically, if it has a color, I plan on watching it. So, I’m looking at having nothing new worth watching on Saturdays. So, I can catch up on my DVR backlog.

A Few Notes on Saturday Nights

• I may watch some college football on Saturdays, especially if my Washington Huskies are playing. But, for the most part I use Saturdays to clean off the DVR for the coming week.
• Hell on Wheels and The White Queen come to an end in early October and then there isn’t really anything with new episodes presently scheduled scripted-wise on Saturdays for fall. Well, except for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special on Saturday, November 23rd. It will play at 11:00am PT/2:00pm ET, as it premieres simultaneously worldwide.
