Friday TV: Grimm, Nikita, Haven S.4 Finale & More

News & Notes

Get Nikita Season Three on Blu-ray/DVD at AmazonOn cable tonight, TLC has a Say Yes to the Dress: The 12 Dresses of Christmas special and Syfy has the fourth season finale of Haven.

Netflix has the second season of Lilyhammer premiering today.

Prime Picks

Last Man Standing (ABC): New. Mandy puts together a holiday surprise. Runs 30 minutes.

Nikita (The CW): New. Jones takes control of the mission from Amanda. Nikita and the team could get their freedom if they let go of their mission.

Haven (Syfy): Season Finale. Audrey is trying to not change into the person William wants her to be while they attempt to put their plan to get rid of William in action. Plays again later. This show certainly knows how to build to a finale, even if this one is much more on the predictable side than past seasons. I sure hope that Syfy renews the series for a fifth season, because this would be a terrible cliffhanger to end on. The previous 12 episodes replay earlier today. Are you looking forward to tonight’s season finale?

Solid Selections

The Carrie Diaries (The CW): New. Carrie has a nasty rumor published about her in a gossip rag. Maggie has a medical emergency.

Grimm (NBC): New. A deadly crime spree is dealt with. Adalind meets Prince Viktor.

Grimm (NBC): New. An evil Santa is the prime suspect in the disappearance of a group of teenagers.

Other Options

  • Blue Bloods (CBS): New. Danny investigates a bombing. Frank deals with the aftermath of a man punching an aggressive officer.
  • Hawaii Five-0 (CBS): New. The team tries to solve a crime that dates back to World War II.
  • Raising Hope (FOX): New. In the first episode, Burt wants to become mayor so he can be the person to plug in the town’s Christmas tree. In the second episode, Burt and Virginia attempt to expose a scandal.

Sports Note

  • ESPN has doubleheader NBA action tonight.

Late Night

  • Masters of Sex (Showtime): Repeat. This past Sunday night’s episode, “Phallic Victories,” replays. Plays again later.
