True Detective (HBO): Season Finale. Hart and Cohle get themselves a new lead in the 17-year-old case. Plays again later.

Episodes (Showtime): New. Everyone is trying to figure out what their future is going to be after “Pucks” ends. Plays after House of Lies and runs 30 minutes.

Solid Selections

The Simpsons (FOX): New. Lisa finds out something about Sideshow Bob while on a research trip. Runs 30 minutes.

The Good Wife (CBS): New. Lemond Bishop is arrested on drug charges that may have resulted from a leak at Alicia’s firm.

Other Options

  • Resurrection (ABC): Series Premiere. Deceased residents of a small town start returning starting with an eight-year-old boy named Jacob. Runs 61 minutes. While this show is getting some mixed reviews, I quite liked it and next week’s episode too. The problem is that tonight it is going up against True Detective, The Good Wife and The Walking Dead, so it will be interesting to see how the ratings are tomorrow morning. I do have one small problem with one thing about the show that mainly plays out next week, but I was drawn in by tonight’s episode and will be keeping up with the series. Are you looking forward to this show tonight?
  • Revenge (ABC): New. Emily’s blackouts are causing some big problems. Victoria deals with some problems from her past. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
  • The Walking Dead (AMC): New. A group finds some shelter. Another group comes to a realization about protection. Runs 61 minutes. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Still,” replays right before and the previous week’s episode, “Claimed,” replays right before that.
