Prime Picks

Once Upon a Time (ABC): New. David and Mary Margaret are celebrating giving their son a name with a party at Granny’s. The season finale follows.

The Good Wife (CBS): New. Alicia deals with the fallout of a client’s comments that could cause problems for a billion dollar merger. Diane and Louis Canning end up on opposite sides of a case. Eli learns something.

Silicon Valley (HBO): New. The team hires a hacker. Jared attempts to get Peter Gregory’s signature. Dinesh deals with a dilemma. Plays again later.
Veep (HBO): New. Selina has a new personal trainer that her staff and family don’t like. Catherine attempts to protect her mother from a protester. Plays again later.

Solid Selections

The Simpsons (FOX): New. Marge decides that she no longer needs to make new friends until she hears Lisa believes the same thing. Runs 30 minutes.

Game of Thrones (HBO): New. Stannis and Davos head out to sea. Dany has some meetings. Tyrion deals with his trial. Plays again later.

Penny Dreadful (Showtime): Series Premiere. A woman and an adventure bring on a sharp-shooter and a doctor to investigate the disappearance of someone close to them. Plays again later. This is a very compelling mishmash of historical drama and famous literary characters with a twist of horror/suspense. I’ve seen the first two and I’m onboard for the entire eight episode first season run. Tonight is the last night of the free Showtime weekend.
