Veep (HBO): New. Selina has a new personal trainer that her staff and family don’t like. Catherine attempts to protect her mother from a protester. Plays again later.
The Simpsons (FOX): New. Marge decides that she no longer needs to make new friends until she hears Lisa believes the same thing. Runs 30 minutes.

Penny Dreadful (Showtime): Series Premiere. A woman and an adventure bring on a sharp-shooter and a doctor to investigate the disappearance of someone close to them. Plays again later. This is a very compelling mishmash of historical drama and famous literary characters with a twist of horror/suspense. I’ve seen the first two and I’m onboard for the entire eight episode first season run. Tonight is the last night of the free Showtime weekend.
