Tonight, ABC has the sixth season premiere of Shark Tank and the 37th season premiere of 20/20, CBS has the 25th season premiere of The Amazing Race, the fifth season premiere of Hawaii Five-0 and the fifth season premiere of Blue Bloods.
Prime has the entire first season of Transparent premiering today. It seems to be a critical darling, but I thought it was pretty terrible. Granted, I’ve only seen the first episode, which apparently has had a few changes made to it since then and most critics have seen the first four. I may check out a couple more episodes at some point, but I can’t imagine what changes they could’ve made to this that would make me interested in watching this show. Will you be checking it out today or over the weekend?

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS): Season Premiere. O’ahu is locked down while Five-0 searches for a terrorist using a weaponized drone. Steve and Danny have to go in for a psychological review that seems a lot like going to couples therapy.
The Knick (Cinemax): New. Racial tensions are high at the Knick after a cop stabs a black man. Everett returns to work to find the operating room is different. Barrow worries about the safety of Junia. Plays twice. Last week’s episode, “Start Calling Me Dad,” replays right before over on MoMax.
