In this episode we preview CBS’ new action drama thriller Limitless. It stars Jake McDorman (Greek), Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter), Hill Harper (Covert Affairs, CSI: NY), Mary Elisabeth Mastrantonio (Grimm, Hostages) and Bradley Cooper reprises his role as Edward Morra from the movie.
Limitless is set as a sequel to the feature film about a man that comes across the brain-boosting power of NZT. He uses it to help out his family, but ends up in the middle of the FBI and now Senator Morra. To keep taking the drug, he begins working for the FBI to help some complex cases. He doesn’t know the FBI is studying him and they don’t know his relationship with Morra, who seems to have his own plans for him.
Limitless is the better of the two new fall shows that are set as sequels to a movie. Check out my thoughts on the other one, Minority Report.
