Solid Selections

Grandfathered (FOX): Series Premiere. An aging bachelor and serial womanizer learns that he is not only a father, but a grandfather. Stars John Stamos (Full House). Runs 30 minutes. This first episode felt rushed to me, but ultimately was okay with some potential. Listen to my spoiler free preview of Grandfathered.
The Grinder (FOX): Series Premiere. Rob Lowe (Parks & Recreation) plays the star of a long running TV law show that has come to an end. So, he head back to where he grew up to spend time with family and figure out what he wants to do next. Fred Savage (The Wonder Years) plays his brother and real small town lawyer, who isn’t all that good in the courtroom. Runs 30 minutes. Liked this one a lot, but will be interesting to see what it becomes after having changed showrunners after this episode and the next few were filmed. Listen to my spoiler free preview of The Grinder.
