Modern Family (ABC): New. Alex heads off for college, but tells her parents she has a different move in day, so she doesn’t have to deal with them. Luke attempts to get out of helping his dad. Runs 31 minutes.

Code Black (CBS): Series Premiere. Follows the doctors and nurses of the busiest emergency room in the U.S., where four first year residents are on their first day and are thrown right into the mix by the ER’s residency director. This show has a really good cast and hits all the emotional points you’d expect a medical drama to hit. But, that’s the main problem, it does just what you’d expect, but it does do them really well.
