Friday TV: Undateable S.3 Premiere, Hawaii Five-0, Strike Back Series Finale & More

Get Get Strike Back S.1-3 Episodes via Amazon Instant VideoTonight, The CW has the second season premiere of Reign and NBC has the third season premiere of Undateable.

Over on cable, A&E has the miniseries premiere of The Enfield Haunting, Cinemax has the series finale of Strike Back, Discovery Channel has the seventh season finale of Bering Sea Gold and a Gold Rush special, Disney has the TV movie premiere of Invisible Sister, and Food Network has the series premiere of BBQ Blitz.

On streaming, Amazon Prime premieres season one of Red Oaks will all 10 episodes as of this morning. Check out my spoiler free preview of Red Oaks. Also, Netflix premieres season one of The New Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show and the documentary premiere of Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom as of this morning.

Undateable (NBC): Season Premiere. Two episodes play. In the first, Danny gets in the middle of Justin and Candace. In the second, Burski has an announcement and Leslie reinvents her look. Looking forward to seeing how this works live on a weekly basis. How about you?

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS): New. The team investigates the death of a scuba diver. McGarrett continues plans to propose to Catherine.

Strike Back (Cinemax): New. Scott and Stonebridge end up in the Swiss Alps chasing down a traitor while facing off against a group of mercenaries. Plays three times. Last week’s episode replays right before over on MoMax.

Solid Selections

Last Man Standing (ABC): New. Vanessa tries to get Eve onboard with electing a female president. Mike and Mandy try to find some common ground. Runs 31 minutes.
Survivor’s Remorse (Starz InBlack): Repeat. This past Saturday night’s episode, “The Injury,” replays. Starts at the half hour and runs 35 minutes.

Rosewood (FOX): Repeat. The second episode from last week, “Fireflies and Fidelity,” replays.

Blue Bloods (CBS): New. A reporter suits up as an officer for a ride-along and gets more than they bargained for.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has Friday Night College Football action with North Carolina State at Virginia Tech.
  • FS1 has Game 2 of the American League Division Series with the Houston Astros at the Kansas City Royals in the second game of the day.
  • MLB Network has Game 2 of the American League Division Series with the Texas Rangers at the Toronto Blue Jays in the first game of the day.
  • TBS has doubleheader National League Division Series games with Game 1 between the Chicago Cubs at the St. Louis Cardinals in the third game of the day followed by Game 1 between the New York Mets at the Los Angeles Dodgers in the last game of the day.
