Listen to the latest episode of TV times Three: Ep.296, “The Good Supergirl Empire.” On this episode I am joined by @mekeishamadto and @ModwildTV to talk about recent episodes of Empire, The Good Wife, The Walking Dead and the series premiere of Supergirl. Plus, some TV recommendations at the end.

Prime Picks

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): New. Damon catches the attention of Mary Louise and Nora, so Stefan and Caroline attempt to distract them.

The Blacklist (NBC): New. A bounty is put on Elizabeth Keen’s head, which causes many problems for her and Red.

The Player (NBC): New. The Player sets out to stop a serial killer on Halloween.

Solid Selections

Bones (FOX): New. A body is found near the remains of a headless corpse that is 200 years old. Abby and Ichabod from Sleepy Hollow offer assistance. While this whole crossover thing works on the face of things. Each episode is fun and the interactions between the various characters is fun, but not a big fan of putting the events of Sleepy Hollow in the same world as Bones. Characters from each show up in the other, but the episodes are basically standalone. That way they were able to keep things separate and not ruin things going forward. Cause if the Bones characters actually saw the events of the Sleepy Hollow half of the two-parter, it would totally change the show. Are you looking forward to this crossover tonight? What do you think of the idea?

Sleepy Hollow (FOX): New. Abby and Ichabod try to figure out how to stop another evil plan by Pandora and go to Brennan and Booth for help in hopes of getting some forensic results quickly.

Haven (Syfy): New. Charlotte and Audrey find that something is stopping them from ending the troubles. Nathan and Dwight have to figure out why. Plays again later.
