Over on cable, Disney XD has a Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales – Gambit on Geonosis special, HBO has the documentary premiere of The Diplomat and the TV movie premiere of The Leisure Class, History has a Secrets of Einstein’s Brain special, MTV has the second season finale of Faking It and the first season finale of Girl Code Live, and TNT has the fourth fall season premiere of Major Crimes and the second season premiere of Legends.

Supergirl (CBS): New. Kara’s attempts to be a hero don’t always go smoothly, but when another Fort Rozz prisoner starts causing problems she has to put that all behind her. Cat wants James to get her an interview with Supergirl. I liked this episode even more than last week’s series premiere and I really liked that episode. You can hear my thoughts on the “Pilot.” If the show continues on this trajectory, then we are in for a fantastic ride. What did you think of Supergirl? Will you be watching again this week?

Jane the Virgin (The CW): New. Rafael wants joint custody. Rogelio’s ex wants him to get her a role on his show. Michael gets a new partner.

Blindspot (NBC): New. The team deals with problems in a remote location. Patterson violates the rules to try and solve another tattoo puzzle.

Gotham (FOX): New. Butch takes Penguin to where his mother is being held captive. Nygma deals with another death.

Major Crimes (TNT): Fall Premiere. The squad investigates after four wealthy people are found left for dead outside a hospital. Plays again later.

Legends (TNT): Season Premiere. Martin Odum is in London looking for clues to his true identity. A Russian gangster is investigated. Runs 62 minutes. Plays again later.

  • Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW): New. Rebecca wonders if the nice guy that asked her out might be the path to true happiness.
  • Homeland (Showtime): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Better Call Saul,” replays. Plays again later.
