In late night, BBC America has the second season finale of Almost Royal.

Supergirl (CBS): New. Supergirl gets trapped in her own mind by an alien parasite where she believes she is still on Krypton with her family.

Jane the Virgin (The CW): New. Jane is dreaming about her professor. Mateo swallows a ring that Rogelio is going to use to propose to Xo.

Castle (ABC): New. Castle and Beckett investigate when a body is found at a theater that Martha is working at. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Solid Selections

The X-Files (FOX): New. Mulder and Scully look at a case involving a city official that seems to have been killed by something other. Scully continues to deal with having given up her child. Runs 61 minutes.

The Magicians (Syfy): New. Quentin awakes in a mental hospital and needs to trust someone to get out. Julia may have gone too far. Plays again later. This is a solid episode that tells a good story and fleshes out a certain character more and leaves one character in an interesting spot, but still didn’t really do anything to warm me much towards the series as a whole. What are you thinking about this show so far?

Lost Girl (Syfy): New. Bo tries to get something back for a friend. Plays again later.

Late Night

  • Angie Tribeca (TBS): Repeat. The third episode, “The Famous Ventriloquist Did It,” replays. Plays again later.
  • Billions (Showtime): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Short Squeeze,” replays. Plays again later twice.
  • Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW): New. Rebecca sends a text to Josh on accident and does whatever she can to stop him from seeing it. Paula tries to get her marriage back on track.
  • NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS): New. The team goes undercover with Arkady’s daughter in an attempt to track him down. Starts a minute before the hour and runs 61 minutes.
  • Recovery Road (Freeform): New. Wes’ ex calls him for help. He tries to use her as a cautionary tale for Maddie.
