Over on cable, BET has the 2016 Hip Hop Awards, Bloomberg, CNN, CSPAN, CSPAN2, FOX Business, FOX News and MSNBC have the 2016 Vice Presidential Debate, BounceTV has the fourth season premiere of Family Time, Cooking Channel has the third season premiere of MasterChef Canada, Golf Channel has the series premiere of Driver vs Driver, and Travel Channel has the fourth season premiere of Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations.

On streaming, Hulu has the fifth season premiere of The Mindy Project.

Next week, ABC has the eighth season premiere of The Middle, the series premiere of American Housewife, the third season premiere of Fresh Off the Boat and the second season premiere of The Real O’Neals, NBC has the fifth season premiere of Chicago Fire, and Syfy has the series premiere of Channel Zero.

The Flash (The CW): Season Premiere. Kid Flash is protecting the city and after a disaster hits, Barry must decide whether he wants to live in the new timeline or not.

No Tomorrow (The CW): Series Premiere. A stuck in a rut female falls for a freewheeling guy and then finds out he thinks the world is coming to an end in eight months and 12 days. The “Pilot” has some problems, but I really like the two leads and it looks like it could be fun. Listen to my short spoiler-free preview for more on No Tomorrow.

Atlanta (FX): New. Van gets jealous. Runs 37 minutes. Plays again later two times.

Solid Selections

Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX): New. The squad heads to Florida to help Jake and Holt get Jimmy Figgis, so they will be able to come back to New York. Runs 31 minutes.
New Girl (FOX): New. Jess ends up as the fifth wheel when Cece and Schmidt and Winston and Aly go camping. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 30 minutes.

Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations (Travel Channel): Season Premiere. Andrew checks out “Nashville” for some hot chicken, chess pie, biscuits and gravy and barbecue. Plays again later.
