Over on cable, Food Network has eighth season finale of The Great Food Truck Race, HBO has the third season finale of Ballers, and MTV has the series finale of Teen Wolf.

Next Sunday, ABC has the series premiere of Ten Days in the Valley, Adult Swim has the third season finale of Rick & Morty in late night, CBS has the series premiere of Wisdom of the Crowd and the ninth season premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles, FOX has the eighth season premiere of Bob’s Burgers, the 29th season premiere of The Simpsons, the series premiere of Ghosted, the 15th season premiere of Family Guy and the fourth season premiere of The Last Man on Earth, HBO has the ninth season premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and PBS has the third season premiere of Poldark.

Teen Wolf (MTV): Series Finale. The final battle ensues. Runs 71 minutes.

The Deuce (HBO): New. Vincent deals with a surprise as he finished the bar. Frankie loses it. Plays again later two times. Last week’s episode, “Show and Prove,” replays right before over on HBO2.

Episodes (Showtime): New. Carol has big news and Matt deals with the death of his father. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again later two times. Last week’s episode, “Episode 504,” replays earlier this evening.

  • Food Paradise (Travel Channel): New. The best places for extremely large offerings in the U.S. are profiled. Another new episode follows. Both play again later. Five episodes replay right before.
  • The Great Food Truck Race (Food Network): Season Finale. The final two teams head to Savannah and have to compete with pedicabs. Plays again later.
  • Star Trek: Discovery (CBS): Series Premiere. The U.S.S. Shenzhou comes across an unknown object and the first officer is tested beyond anything she has ever faced before. Starts a half hour after the hour following 60 Minutes and runs 65 minutes. This episode and the second episode will be available on CBS All Access following the premiere on CBS tonight. The subsequent six episodes will to stream each week on Sundays for the next six weeks and then return in January for another seven episodes to complete season one.
