On cable tonight, Food Network has the season premiere of Dinner: Impossible, Sci Fi has the first season finale of Ghost Hunters: International, truTV has the series premiere
first season finale of Stringers: LA, and TV Land has the first season finale series premiere of Family Foreman.
Bones (FOX): Repeat. Brennan’s father goes on trial and the rest of the team all testify for the prosecution, in “The Verdict in the Story” from this past season.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX): Repeat. John is defending Cameron to Derek and Sarah comes close to meeting up with a Terminator, in “Vick’s Chips.” The first season finale episode replays on Sunday night. Season two premieres on Monday, September 8th.
CSI: NY (CBS): Repeat. A shark and a salesman wash up on the beach and the team investigates, in “Like Water for Murder” from this past season.
Summer Olympics 2008 (NBC): Day 13. Tonight’s events include track & gymnastics, field, beach volleyball, and cycling. Coverage runs four hours.
Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. Iron Chef Batali competes in a battle where each side has a mixologist along to make drinks to go with each dish. Both episodes play again later.
MythBusters (Discovery Channel): Repeat. The guys test whether someone could learn to land a plane in an hour, along with some parachuting myths. Plays again later. Another episode replays right before and both episode play again later.
Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): Season Premiere. Iron Chef Michael Symon is the new chef on the show and he has to cook dinner for 125 people on Alcatraz Island. A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
Bravo has six episodes of Project Runway tonight.
Oxygen has 14 episodes of Roseanne.
TNT has five episodes of Law & Order tonight.
Sci Fi has the first eight episodes of Special Unit 2 early.
VH1 has nine episodes of America’s Next Top Model.

On cable tonight, BBC America has the second season finale of Not Going Out, BET has the second season finale of Baldwin Hills, FX has the ninth Rescue Me minisode, MTV has the season premiere of Making the Band 4, and Oxygen has the third season finale of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.
House (FOX): Repeat. House brings in some new candidates for his team and turns his next patient into a competition, “The Right Stuff,” from this past season.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX): Repeat. Sarah comes across a file on her time in the institution and finds out about one of her doctors that became a convert to what she was telling him, in “The Demon Hand.”
Without a Trace (CBS): Repeat. A tow truck driver that saved a boy’s life goes missing, in “Driven” from this past season.
NCIS (CBS): Repeat. Abby is in jeopardy of losing her job when she refuses to think that a dog was behind what looks to be a fatal mauling, in “Dog Tags” from this past season.
Reaper (The CW): Repeat. Sam is trying to find out where the leak in Hell is after he returns a soul that he has already caught once before, in “The Leak.”
Primetime (ABC): Repeat. Medical mysteries are investigated.
Secret Life on the American Teenager (ABC Family): New. Amy’s grandmother visits and will do what she can to help and Grace and Adrian are starting to become friends. Plays again later.
Eureka (Sci Fi): New. Carter gets stuck reliving Alison’s wedding day over and over again. Plays again later and again next week before the new episode. Last week’s episode, “Best in Faux,” replays right before.
The Cleaner (A&E): New. A boy asks William for help with his father and the team goes undercover only to find the dad is embroiled in a meth ring. The whole thing causes William to think about the relationship he has with his son. Plays twice and again later twice.
Bravo has eight episodes of Flipping Out.
Oxygen has 10 hours of Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood episodes.
Sci Fi has eight episodes of Stargate SG-1 early.

On cable tonight, Discovery Channel has a Raging Nature special followed by the series premiere of Into the Unknown with Josh Bernstein, HBO has a Thank You, Mr. President: Helen Thomas at the White House special, and MTV the fourth season premiere of The Hills followed by the series premiere of Busted and Spike has part two of the Kung Fu Killer miniseries.
The Big Bang Theory (CBS): Repeat. Penny decides to plan a surprise party of Leonard after she finds out that he doesn’t usually celebrate his birthday, in “The Peanut Reaction.”
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. Marshall gets verbally emasculated by his new boss and wonders why he took this job in the first place, in “The Chain of Screaming” from this past season.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX): Repeat. The Stranger with a connection to them fights for his life and remembers what the future was like before he was sent back, in “Dungeons & Dragons.” This is episode six and episodes seven and eight play tomorrow and Wednesday and the first season finale episode replays on Sunday.
CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. Alexx’s son becomes a suspect in a murder case, in “Rock and a Hard Place” from this past season.
Prison Break (FOX): Repeat. Michael has to move up the escape because of the heavy rains and another inmate gets added to the escape, in “Under & Out” from this past season.
Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat. Alan thinks that Charlie may be out of control with his womanizing, in “Rough Night in Hump Junction” from this past season.
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Repeat. Christine is trying to get over breaking up with Mr. Harris, in “Between a Rock and a Hard Place” from this past season.
Summer Olympics (NBC): Day 11. Gymnastics, track & field and beach volleyball play during the four hours of coverage tonight.
Army Wives (Lifetime): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Mothers & Wives,” replays. Plays again Saturday late night and Sunday right before the next new episode.
