There are 29 new sets on DVD that were released today. I normally get this post out in the morning, but work got in the way. Anyway, there are some really nice sets that came out, including a couple on Blu-ray. The Best of Bizarre set would be my prime pick this week, too bad it is being released in Canada. Got to love the show that gave us Super Dave Osborne. Other solid selections this week are Grey’s Anatomy and Smallville on both DVD and Blu-ray. What new shows on DVD look good to you this week?

There are 20 new TV DVD sets being released today and there is a lot of solid offerings. Sets include some returning series being released close enough to the start of their next season to help with buzz about the show, but far enough out to have a chance to watch them if you want to catch up before the new season begins. The best of the best is season four of The Office, but you can’t go wrong with the first seasons of The Big Bang Theory, Eli Stone or Life. What sets look good to you this week?

A big week for DVD releases with 26 new sets being released and another three coming out on Blu-ray. Even though many seem to be down on the second season of Heroes, it is best bet of the releases this week, as it will arrive in both DVD and Blu-ray formats. Actually, the best bet is the first season of Heroes now being available on Blu-ray. Other notable offerings this week include the fourth season of Entourage, even though people seemed to be down on it as well, the fifth season of NCIS, the fifth season of One Tree Hill and the sixth season of The Shield.

There are 19 new sets being released today, 17 on DVD and two on Blu-ray. With the new fall season fast approaching, last season’s sets are starting to hit the market. It is hard to recommend just one as the best bet this week with the likes of season two of Dexter, the fourth season of House and the first season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. But, if I were pushed, the order they are mentioned above would probably be the order of recommendation.
