Network TV is basically barren of anything worth watching tonight with all the repeats. Unless you haven’t seen them, then they are new to you. Your best of the best bet tonight as always is The Closer on TNT. The show fails to disappoint week after week. Have you been watching? If not you should be. What will you be watching?

The King of Queens (CBS): Repeat. Carrie’s dad brings back bug-infested sheets and the whole house needs to be fumigated.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. Ted accidentally messes up a friend’s potential wedding by trying to get Robin on the guest list so he can take her as her date.
Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat. It is Jake’s birthday and Alan is trying to avoid bring his very young girlfriend to the party. This was a very funny episode.
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. Ted meets a great girl at the wedding and has a fantastic night even though they agree to not exchange names or numbers. Ted decides he must track her down and Robin realizes she has feelings for Ted.
CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. The death of a young woman on a boat trapped in shark-infested waters is investigated.
Solid Selections
Project Runway (NBC): Repeat. The Bravo series gets a play date on the big network.
Treasure Hunters (NBC): Repeat. Would you leave a team member behind to keep from getting eliminated?
Medium (NBC): Repeat. Allison dreams about her brother being a part of a bank robbery and then he shows up.
Cable Choices
Kyle XY (ABC Family): New. More is revealed about the creepy guy following Kyle. Tonight Kyle gets his first lessons in romance and dealing with girls.
The Closer (TNT): New. The team investigates the death of a photographer who fell from a hotel balcony. An actor with something to hide becomes the prime suspect. On the home front Brenda thinks Fritz is starting to act a bit strangely. This show has some of the best opening sequence I have ever seen. They set up the plot and draw you in. It plays again after Saved.
Saved (TNT): New. Wyatt and the gang get a new supervisor that tries to whip them into shape. I am sure that goes over real well.
Other Options
- Blade: The Series (Spike): Repeat. Last week’s episode “Descent†replays.
- Dark Angel (Sci Fi Channel): Repeats. Four more episodes of the series play tonight. This was a really good show. Just another in a long line of FOX shows that were cancelled before there time.
- Falcon Beach (ABC Family): New. After winning Wake Jam Jason starts training for Nationals. Ginny is called to testify about Trevor’s business.
- The Secret Life Of … (Food Network): New. Get a look at the history of romantic meals.
Sports Notes
- ESPN has Monday Night Baseball with the Atlanta Braves at the St. Louis Cardinals.
- ESPN2 has Japan vs. the United States early and the finals of the 2006 Softball World Cup later.
- OLN has Tour de France coverage with a recap of what has gone on so far as today is a rest day.
