Wow, with the end of the February sweeps period comes the abrupt end to nights filled with new shows. Tonight only FOX and The CW have new programming, unless you count the newsmagazines on the other three. There is a new Dateline NBC, Primetime and 48 Hours Mystery, which you could watch over the course of three hours tonight. I wouldn’t recommend it, but you could. The new show that takes over the Veronica Mars timeslot, Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, for a few weeks, debuts tonight. I wouldn’t really recommend that either. Especially, if you are a Veronica fan and want to see a fourth season. You don’t want some other lame show coming in and producing better ratings in the same time period.
American Idol (FOX): New. The eight remaining guys sing and hope to make the Top 12. The girls sing tomorrow.
House (FOX): New. Dave Matthews guest stars as a musical savant with a rare movement disorder. Cameron finds out some info on House.
Boston Legal (ABC): Repeat. This episode has Alan helping Jerry Espenson with a client who may have killed her girlfriend.
Gilmore Girls (The CW): New. The Gilmore Girls go on a little road trip to North Carolina for a wedding while Lane goes into labor back home.
Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat. Martha Plimpton guest stars as the daughter of Goren’s mentor where he is investigating a case that looks similar to an old case that was never solved.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. Repeat of “Underbelly,†which had Stabler and Beck attempting to get a prostitute to testify.
Emeril Live (Food Network): Repeat. Emeril shows you how to cook up a fantastic meal using just one pot to do so.
Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel): New. Mike learns to make wine and visits a cattle ranch.
Dirt (FX): New. Lucy thinks that putting out a sex issue will help everyone relax a little after last week’s hostage situation. Runs 65 minutes and plays twice.
What will you be watching tonight?
