Tonight on the Tube: Doctor Who, Monk, Psych & Flash Gordon

Tonight is the series debut of the new Flash Gordon on Sci Fi Channel. Set for Life (ABC): New. A travel agent and a hair stylist play for a chance at monthly checks for the up to 40 years.

Las Vegas (NBC): Repeat. Mike figures out that a rare bottle of wine about to be auctioned off at the Montecito is a fake and they have to find the real one.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC): Repeat. A death row prisoner wants to extend his sentence and puts Goren and Eames on the trail of a hidden scrapbook that will shed light on many unsolved cases.

School of Rock (FOX): Released 2003. Jack Black as a guitarist that gets fired from his group and decides to pose as a teacher for the students in the school band. Runs two hours.

20/20 (ABC): New. This episode focuses on the Rev. Billy Graham’s and his ties to 11 U.S. presidents, which includes the current president. Get a perspective on the man form all the living former presidents and four former first ladies, as they discuss their relationships with Graham, who also shares his thoughts on the presidents he has worked with.

Doctor Who (Sci Fi): New. Trying to turn back the clock and become younger has dire consequences. Plays again later.

Monk (USA): New. Natalie enlists Monk to talk to her daughter about the birds and the bees. Plays again later.

Psych (USA): New. Murder at the horse track, wanna bet who solves the case first. Plays again later.

Other Options

• Flash Gordon (Sci Fi): Series Premiere. A new telling of the classic sci-fi tale has Eric Johnson (Smallville) taking on the role of Flash. I am looking forward to watching tonight’s 90-minute premiere and seeing what the finished product looks like, as the review copy I watched was lacking most of the special f/x and music.
