Interview With the Cast of Battlestar Galactica – Video

Download Battlestar Galactica Episodes at Amazon UnboxLast summer, Sci Fi Channel invited TVaholic, and a few other online media outlets, to tour the sets of Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, Flash Gordon, and Stargate Atlantis. We also got the opportunity to participate in panel Q&A’s with some cast members from these shows.

Before touring the Battlestar Galactica sets, we got to spend about an hour, on the Hangar Set, asking questions of Aaron Douglas (Chief Petty Officer Galen Tyrol), Michael Hogan (Colonel Saul Tigh), Jamie Bamber (Capt. Lee “Apollo” Adama), Grace Park (Lt. J.G. Sharon “Boomer” Valerii), Tahmoh Penikett (Lt. Karl C. “Helo” Agathon), Harvey Frand (Line Producer), and Mark Stern (Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Sci Fi Channel), also Bonnie Hammer (President, USA Network and Sci Fi Channel) joins in at one point.

This took place on June 26th, 2007, so why post it now, you may ask? Well, it has been available on the video players page, but since it took place when they were in the middle of shooting episodes four and five of season four, which will finally premiere on Friday, April 4th, it seemed like a good time to post it more prominently for your viewing pleasure. (RSS and eMail Subscribers may need to click to the site to view the video)

Topics covered include:

  • What their favorite episodes and moments from the show are.
  • What Douglas and Hogan thought about their characters being Cylons.
  • What it is like for Park to play multiple roles.
  • Their experiences with fans, both famous and not.
  • And more.

What did you think of the Battlestar Galactica cast interview? How excited are you for the beginning of season four?
