Review: Sci Fi Channel was kind enough to send over a screener of the fourth, and final, season premiere of Battlestar Galactica, yet those that were lucky enough to get one, had to sign an agreement that we wouldn’t spoil the episode. Especially, in regards to what happened in the last 15 minutes of the show. Not that I would’ve spoiled things for you anyway, as I don’t like to know too much, myself, going in to a new episode, season, movie, etc.
So, now you are thinking, what happens in the last segment of the show? How does it end? Well, you will just have to watch tomorrow night, Friday, April 4th and find out for yourself. I will say, that if you’ve been anxiously awaiting Battlestar Galactica’s return, you will not be disappointed.
I will tell you how it begins, as the fourth season opens with a bang. Well, a lot of them. The episode starts off with one frakkin’ awesome space battle, as the fleet is being barraged by the Cylons. It is too bad that in only 10 short weeks, we will probably have to wait another year before the final 10 episodes of season four make it to air.
As you would expect, the acting is outstanding, the special f/x are great and the show leaves you wanting more. Wow, could I be anymore general in my praise for the episode?
So, why don’t you come back after the Battlestar Galactica season four premiere and let us know what you thought about the episode? Especially, those last 15 minutes.
The battle scene at the beginning is quite good and long. I got a screener DVD as well – the ending was pretty good. Here’s my review: http://blog.filmjabber.com/2008/04/03/review-battlestar-galactica-season-4-tv-premiere/
